Bensalem/Trevose Honors Deacon Ellzy

What a proud moment as we dedicated Charles V. Ellzy Way this past Saturday. What was once known as Warren Ave was re-named to honor one of Bensalem’s finest citizens. Mr. Ellzy was an outstanding man of substance. He was a family man, a community leader, a church man. His life was about selfless service to others. Upon his passing in July, Council President, Ed Kisselback with the support of his council colleagues and Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo immediately put the idea into action. “I applaud the efforts of the community for supporting this endeavor”, said Mayor DiGirolamo.
