NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received at the Township Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA 19020, until 2:00 PM on May 31, 2023. The bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM, same day, for the following:
DEMOLITION PROJECT - BENSALEM TOWNSHIP COUNTRY CLUB
Specifications, bid proposal forms, contract form and instructions to bidders may be obtained at the Bensalem Township Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Questions should be directed to the Township Engineer.
Before submitting their bid, it is recommended that the bidder visit the site to familiarize himself/herself with local conditions that may in any manner affect performance of the work and carefully correlate observations with the requirements of the contract documents.
The successful Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap.
Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope, marked on the outside “BID PROPOSAL FOR 2023 DEMOLITION PROJECT – BENSALEM TOWNSHIP COUNTRY CLUB”.
Bensalem Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, or take such action as it may deem to be in the best interest of the Township and as may be permitted by law.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Bensalem Township will be accepting contractor prequalification documents, and for those contractors that are approved as prequalified, proposals for the following project:
· 2023 ROAD PAVING PROJECT
Contractors that are interested in bidding on this project must submit their Responsible Contractor Certification prequalification forms no later than 4:00 P.M. on April 26, 2023, at the Bensalem Township Municipal Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem PA 19020.
The Township will notify those Bidders that have successfully met the prequalification requirements on or before April 28, 2023.
The Township will receive sealed proposals from those prequalified bidders as follows:
Sealed proposals will be received at the Township Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem PA 19020, until 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2023. The bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM, same day, for the following:
· 2023 ROAD PAVING PROJECT
Responsible Contractor Certification Forms, Specifications, bid proposal forms, contract form and instructions to bidders may be obtained at the Bensalem Township Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Questions should be directed to the Township Engineer:

Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond, in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid and made payable to Bensalem Township, PA. Pennsylvania prevailing wages will apply to this contract.
