Notice Bensalem Township The Bensalem Township Council meeting scheduled for Monday, February 22nd, 2021 has been cancelled. Any business that was scheduled for that meeting will be heard at the next scheduled meeting on Monday, March 8th, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. in the Bensalem Township Municipal Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA using the Zoom platform. Joseph Pilieri, Council President Effective February 11th, a new drop box has been installed at the Bensalem Township Building and Planning Department. The depository style box was placed externally at the south (side) entrance of the township building. Effective November 23, 2020, access to the township building has been limited to appointments as a COVID -19 precautionary measure. This limitation posed an inconvenience to our customers, specifically on the processing of a multitude of permit applications, etc. Now an applicant can simply drive to the municipal complex and “drop” paperwork into the box. The box will be checked on a rotation basis throughout the work day. “A service that residents asked for and received”, said Mayor DiGirolamo. “Our team is always about timely service and looking for ways to streamline the permit process”, the Mayor stated. Questions? Please contact the Building and Planning Department at 215-633-3600.
