Disabled Persons Advisory Board
The Township of Bensalem Disabled Persons Advisory Board is a seven-member board, which was established in 1992. The members are appointed by the Mayor and serve a term of one year. The purpose of the board is to educate the community on the Americans with Disabilities Act, and all other state, local and federal statutes, regulations, or requirements which may be appropriate for Township action; educate the community as to the needs of the disabled; recommend to the Mayor and Council such action as would be necessary to comply with the mandates of the law.
