Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 2025 has been canceled due to lack of agenda items. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. Council meetings can be viewed live by the public on cable television channels 22 (Comcast Xfinity) in Bensalem and 34 (Verizon Fios) throughout Bucks County. Meetings will then replay daily at 1:00 A.M., 10:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. Council meetings will also live stream via the Township’s YouTube Channel, www.youtube.com/bensalemtownship. Meetings will then be available on our YouTube Channel for immediate replay, and next day streaming via the Township website, www.bensalempa.gov. Bucks County Water & Sewer Authority are going to be starting the Sewer Lining Project on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. InfraHorse will be working on the sanitary sewer mains in the following locations: Linda Lane, Roselyn Lane, Francesca Lane, Lillian Drive, Glenn Avenue, Mechanicsville Road & Galloway Road. Please see the attached map for locations and date of work https://tinyurl.com/yc6e2ywh Hours will be 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Please do not park in the street during that timeframe. The duration of work will be from March 4, 2025 to March 21, 2025, weather permitting. Please do not use your water from 9am - 5pm during the work on your location/street. February 20, 2025 Construction Planned Next Week on U.S. 1 in Bensalem, Middletown Townships The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) construction is planned next week on U.S. 1 in Bensalem and Middletown townships under PennDOT’s $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County. The work is part of PennDOT’s U.S. 1/RC2 contract that will reconstruct and widen U.S. 1 from south of the Rockhill Drive Interchange to north of the Penndel/Business U.S. 1 Interchange.
