WHAT DOES TOWN WATCH INVOLVE?
Bensalem Town Watch has been established to encourage citizens of Bensalem Township to become involved in crime prevention in their own neighborhoods. Bensalem Town Watch is a volunteer organization. The purpose is to help the Bensalem Police protect the community. Town Watch members act as additional eyes and ears for the Police Department. Some members visually check hundreds of residences each night for signs of criminal activity (vandalism, graffiti, break-ins, etc). Town Watch members also notify the Township of burned out street lights and abandoned vehicles. Participation can include anything from simply receiving crime report information and discussing it with neighbors to actively patrolling your neighborhood. BENSALEM TOWN WATCH NEEDS YOU...
