​Another first in Bensalem and Bucks County!
 
Bensalem Police/Co-Responder Initiative. A new collaborative initiative was announced during a press conference held at Bensalem Township Municipal Building, Thursday, December 3rd. This initiative teams police with county social workers. The program will aim to divert people in need of social services away from the criminal justice system and reduce the amount of time police spend on social service-related calls.
