FIRE INSPECTION UNIT
The Fire Inspection Unit is responsible for conducting fire prevention inspections in all commercial properties (including apartment complex’s) within the township annually. These fire inspections ensure that the fire protection systems, fire detection systems and other life safety devices are in maintained and proper working order. In addition, to inspections the Fire Inspection Unit will review plans (sprinkler, fire alarm, tank, hydrant, etc.) to ensure they comply with the International Fire Code and establish conditions to ensure public safety at special events including (Carnivals, Fireworks Displays, Concerts, Car Shows, etc.)
All of the Firefighter within the Fire Rescue Department are State and Nationally Certified as Fire Inspectors.
